Founding Attorney Nanci Freeman is a graduate of the prestigious UCLA School of Law. She has been serving the Community as a fierce legal advocate for over a decade. Prior to law school, Ms. Freeman was a trained and certified paralegal working in the legal community. Her experience also includes pro-bono volunteer work at the Harriet Buhai Family Law Center, Levitt and Quinn, and the Los Angeles Superior Court Domestic Violence Project. Ms. Freeman also coordinated the Advocates for All Project providing free legal clinics for the Los Angeles Community.
An outspoken advocate for individuals, Ms. Freeman drew the attention of the Los Angeles times for a provocative speech delivered at a protest rally regarding the evisceration of minority enrollment at UCLA during her attendance at the school of law from 1997-2000. Her speech had such an impact that it was featured on page 1 of the calendar section, along with pertinent excerpts of her talk. She was later selected by her fellow students to deliver the student speech at the Commencement ceremony. Her speech was subsequently published in the Chicano Latino Law Review.
Ms. Freeman migrated to the wild west coast of California, by way of Lubbock, Texas. She gained exposure to a variety of cultures and environments as the oldest daughter of United States Army service man. Ms. Freeman has lived across the UNITED STATES including New York, New Jersey, Panama Central America, and Texas. She has made her home in California having become incurably addicted to the California coastline and mild weather.
Sharp, passionate, compassionate and intelligent, Ms. Freeman mixes her passion for writing and advocacy with her commitment to service to her fellow man. She is convinced of her mission to be of service to the community, utilizing the blessings of a loving and all-powerful Creator. Her practice is driven by her Christian faith and commitment to integrity, principles and fortitude.
